WTHR is an iPhone app designed by David Elgena based on Dieter Rams’ 10 Principles of Design. The minimalistic weather app features one simple interface, combining function with design aesthetic.

The weather is displayed on a white screen using a dial that spins through icons of different conditions (clouds, sunshine, rain, etc.) before resting on the day’s forecast. Below, a few words tell you the forecast and temperature, e.g. “It’s Cloudy 77°” or “It’s Sunny 85°”. Then there’s a seven-day forecast with small icons and temperatures, with a slider at the bottom that lets you switch between °F and °C.
